The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini and delegates visited CPC Taoyuan Refinery

The Eswatini delegation led by Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini visited Taiwan. On March 9, 2023, they visited CPC Taoyuan Refinery to learn more about the operation of oil storage tanks. Received by Shun-Chin Lee, the Chairman of CPC Taiwan, the Eswatini delegation was welcomed warmly. During the visit, the Chairman shared the oil refinery experiences of CPC over the past years and the objectives of future development.

Being the first time that Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini has visited Taiwan, he showed great interest in visiting the Taoyuan Oil Refinery. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economic Affairs helped to specially arrange the visit. He mainly visited the oil storage tanks and related filling facilities. Chairman Shun-Chin Lee said that since the establishing of diplomatic relations in 1968, both countries have visited each other frequently,and as allies in the international arena, both have showed firm support for each other. It is believed that the economic cabinet led by Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini will understand the importance of oil storage tanks to stable economic development. The visit will also deepen the economic cooperation between both countries in the future.
