Fuel Oil

The Marketing Business Division’s product portfolio includes:- automotive unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel, low-sulfur fuel oil, marine distillate fuels, marine residual fuels and Jet A-1 aviation fuel.

Automotive Unleaded Gasoline
The Automotive Unleaded Gasoline category is divided into three types, each identified by a different number referring to its octane rating: 98UL, 95UL and 92UL. In addition, 95E3 denotes an octane rating of 95, achieved by the addition of 3% alcohol by volume.

Automotive Unleaded Gasoline is suitable for use in engines with a hardened exhaust valve seat, fuel auto-ignition or exhaust gas catalytic converters installed. Its sulfur content limit is 10ppm (m/m).

Automotive Diesel Fuel
The Automotive Diesel Fuel category is divided into two broad types: Super Diesel (SD) and Premium Diesel (PD).

Both products are suitable for medium- and high-speed diesel-engined vehicles. The sulfur content limit of both SD and PD is 10ppm (m/m).

Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (LSFO 0.5% & 1.0%)
The Low Sulfur Fuel Oil category is divided into four types:
1.Low viscosity LSFO is used to fuel industrial boilers without a heat-isolator unit. Its kinematic viscosity limit is lower than 80cSt and the sulfur content limit is 0.5% (wt).
2.LSFO(0.5%) is used to fuel industrial boilers with a heat-isolator unit. The sulfur content limit is 0.5% (wt).
3.LSFO(1.0%) is used to fuel industrial boilers that are licensed to use oil with a high sulfur content . In this case, the sulfur content limit is 1.0% (wt).
4.High-pour LSFO is used to fuel electrical industrial boilers with a heat-isolator unit. Its pour-point limit is lower than fifty-one degrees and the sulfur content limit is 0.5% (wt).
