CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC) and Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (TIAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on biodiversity conservation on April 20, 2026. The agreement was signed by CPC Chairman Fang Jeng-Zen and TIAC Chairman Yang Wei-Fu on behalf of their respective organizations.

This pioneering collaboration between the energy and aviation sectors will see CPC lead overall conservation planning and implementation, while TIAC will provide resource support and active participation. Moving forward, the two organizations will strengthen their collaboration by inviting each other to participate in ESG-related initiatives and promoting knowledge sharing.

Guided by the principle of “shared experience and collective progress,” the partnership aims to encourage greater corporate participation in biodiversity conservation, and advance the certification of Taiwan’s terrestrial and marine Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs). These efforts are aligned with the Convention on Biological Diversity’s global “30×30” target of conserving 30% of the world’s land and marine areas. Furthermore, the two organizations will continue to expand their collaboration to include sustainable value chains, clean energy, and renewable energy, laying a solid foundation for Taiwan’s green transition.
