Newly Appointed Prime Minister of Eswatini Russell Dlamini Leads a Delegation to CPC’s Taoyuan Refinery

Eswatini Prime Minister, Russell Dlamini, who has recently assumed office, led a delegation on an official visit to Taiwan. On March 21, 2024, they toured CPC’s Taoyuan Refinery, where they were warmly welcomed by Chairman Lee Shun-Chin. Chairman Lee shared insights into CPC's strategies for achieving net-zero transition, focusing on "quality oil, carbon reduction, and clean energy" as key pillars and emphasizing CPC's commitment to driving transformation through research and development towards net-zero goals. He expressed hopes that the visit would foster closer cooperation between Taiwan and Eswatini, contributing to the global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Chairman Lee presented Prime Minister Russell Dlamini with a handmade model of the Chuhuangkeng Drilling Rig to commemorate the occasion. With over a century of history, the Chuhuangkeng Oil Field represents Taiwan's energy evolution and also signifies the enduring collaboration between Taiwan and Eswatini.
