CPC participates in the “2022 Asian-Pacific Forum & Exposition for Sustainability”. Chairman Lee Shun-chin, acts as shop manager for a day

From August 12 to 14, 2022, the CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC) participated in the “2022 Asian-Pacific Forum & Exposition for Sustainability” with the “CPC Sustainability Base – RE-HUB.” Through the three major strategies – “optimizing refining operation”, “reducing carbon emission”, and “developing clean energy” – and outlining a road map, to imagine the gas station of the future. In the expo hall, visitors could operate green energy rally cars in person and learn about various energy storage materials. Visitors could see under the sea at Yongan, and the edible red macroalgae (Sarcodia ceylanica) cultivated in the cold sea water produced from the process of LNG gasification (which CPC calls “Diamond Water”). Moreover, visitors could also hear the chirping of the little terns (Sterna albifrons) in habitats around Zhuwei Harbor, Taoyuan City. Visiting CPC’s booth, visitors were invited to care for the conservation of the environment with CPC.

In the venue, a “cheer-up station” was set up, where visitors could taste CPC’s own mellow “CUP&GO” coffee for free. Sea algae egg rolls were also co-launched with the Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation, demonstrating CPC’s endeavors in sustainable development.

Mr. Lee Shun-chin, Chairman of CPC, was a shop manager for a day to promote CPC’s CUP&GO coffee, and call for the care of children with developmental disorders.
