In support of the government’s hydrogen energy policy – one of the 12 Key Strategies of the National Net-Zero Plan – CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC) and Linde LienHwa Gas Company jointly held the inauguration ceremony for the CPC Nanzih Hydrogen Refueling Station and the Linde LienHwa Shugu Demonstration Hydrogen Refueling Station in Kaohsiung on December 11, 2025. The ceremony was co-hosted by CPC Chairman Fang Jeng-Zen and Linde LienHwa Chairman Peter Owen. The joint deployment of hydrogen refueling infrastructure for hydrogen-powered vehicles by these leading public and private enterprises marks a significant milestone and opens a new chapter in Taiwan’s hydrogen mobility development.
The CPC Nanzih Hydrogen Refueling Station is equipped with modular hydrogen processing technology supplied by Linde (Germany), the joint venture partner of Linde LienHwa. The station is capable of serving a wide range of vehicles, including hydrogen-powered buses, trucks, container trucks, and passenger cars. Following its commissioning, the station will also support the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in advancing pilot programs for hydrogen fuel cell buses, in collaboration with local governments and bus operators to expand demonstration operations.
