On September 23, 2025, CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC) signed a Memorandum of Intent on Biodiversity Conservation with E.SUN Bank, declaring their joint commitment to promoting environmental sustainability initiatives. This collaboration not only showcases CPC’s proactive efforts in advancing corporate sustainability transformation but also strengthens cross-industry cooperation between the energy and financial sectors in building a greener future together. Moving forward, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to enhance biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability, demonstrating their shared commitment and concrete actions toward protecting Taiwan’s natural environment.
CPC has achieved concrete results in biodiversity conservation at its operational sites through collaboration with academia and external professional organizations. Building on these accomplishments, the company has now expanded its cross-industry cooperation by partnering with E.SUN Bank. Their joint initiatives include promoting biodiversity preservation, pursuing marine and terrestrial OECM certifications, and supporting the “30x30” global conservation target, where 30% of land and ocean areas will be protected by 2030.
